Kunena 7.0.4 Released
The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.4 [K 7.0.4] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0
This category contains miscellaneous, uncategorised third-party extensions (e.g. JomSocial, Community Builder, etc.) relating to older versions of Kunena that are no longer supported.
This category may also contain a few topics relating to K 1.6 that may have been moved here possibly by mistake.
The topics in this category are for historical interest only. Owing to the structural differences between K 1.6 and K 1.7, the ideas in these topics may not work with later versions and, for that reason, the topics are locked.

Question CB integration not working

CB integration not working was created by gburak
Community Builder cb_1_1_0 installed and was working fine with the Kunena Forum tab in the profile.
For some unknown reason I got a blank screen tonight when trying to load the Kunena forum.
I reconfigured the Kunena Integration settings from CB back to Kunena and got the forum working again.
Thinking there was something wrong with the CB com_comprofiler, I uninstalled and reinstalled it. Then the plug_cb_kunena_tab wasn't showing installed or published in the CB Plugin Manager. So I uninstalled the plug_cb_kunena_tab and got an error:
(sorry I didn't write this one down) something about an xml file not deleted from the admin area.
Tried to reinstall the plug_cb_kunena_tab and get the following error message:
The directory in which the plugin should install does not exist: probably the parent extension is not installed. Install parent extension first. Plugin parent directory missing: "/web/burakdesign.com/httpdocs/dillonU/components/com_comprofiler/plugin/user/plug_cbkunena/joomlaboard/" and plugin directory specified by installer for installation "/web/burakdesign.com/httpdocs/dillonU/components/com_comprofiler/plugin/user/plug_cbkunena/joomlaboard/simpleboardtab/"
So, at this point, the Kunena forum works fine on its own (without CB integration) and the CB profile shows up properly (of course without the forum tab).
If I now try to reset the the Kunena Integration settings from Kunena back to CB, I get the CB profile when clicking the Profile tab at the top of the forum, but I again get a blank screen when trying to access any posts (that would show a user's profile).
Help!! I'd like to get my CB integration and forum tab back!!
(thanks to all who have read this long mess)

I don't understand the references to joomlaboard in your error messages nor do I understand the reference to Community Builder 1_1_0. It looks like you're trying to use an ancient version of CB that is long past its "use by" date.
If you had searched the forum here at www.kunena.com you will find that K 1.0.10 requires CB 1.2.1. In fact, these two products are co-dependent on one another. That is, if both products are installed, neither will work unless both are upgraded. If only one product is installed it will work quite happily without the other.
See Kunena 1.0.10 needs CB 1.2.1 which provides most of the information you need. Also see Solutions and Tutorials - Support Kunena 1.0.10 for other important information about known problems with K 1.0.10.

ok thanks, I'll try the upgrades/compatability and post my results; odd thing that they were working a few days ago, maybe I was 'just lucky'.

Could one of the moderators please move this thread to the "Community Builder" category?

I've updated to Community Builder cb_1_2_1 and still have the same problems: same error messages.
also, I have two CB plugins:
cb_simpleboardtab (set to Kunena from www.kunena.com )(if published neither Kunena or CB-Profile work)
cb_fireboard (if published both work independently, no integration)
thanks!

I don't know anything about cb.fireboard plugin. It might have been leftover from CB 1.1. Can you uninstall cb.fireboard plugin?
