Kunena 7.0.5 & Kunena 6.4.11 – Security Updates Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.5 [K 7.0.5] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0.

The Kunena team is also pleased to announce the eleventh version of Kunena 6.4, a native Joomla extension for Joomla! 5.0, 5.1, 5.2, 5.3, 5.4 and 6.0.

This category contains miscellaneous, uncategorised user contributions, (templates, modules, plugins and hacks) relating to older versions of Kunena that are no longer supported.

This category may also contain a few topics relating to K 1.6 that may have been moved here possibly by mistake.

The topics in this category are for historical interest only. Owing to the structural differences between K 1.6 and K 1.7, these ideas in these topics will not work with later versions and, for that reason, the topics are locked.

When a user logs in they are redirected to the home page for the site. How would I have them redirected to the main forum page?

TIA/TBC

Hi TBC,

Becouse Kunena use Joomla for Registration and Login to site.

I don't know how is your site but if you use Joomla and Kunena you can use this Module which take you on the page where you do login.

If you use Joomla + Kunena + CB you can do this hack or use CB Login module.

Also you can see here www.kunena.com/forum/4-archive-support/6...ogin-alteration#7597

Thanks a bunch for the references and I had a quick look, but I'm thinking that if it's all redirected from a common Joomla page and there's no need for anyone to log into anything on the front end other than the forum... if I should just redirect that page to the forum.

Would you happen to know what file I'd edit to have the front end redirect go to the url for the forum?

Thanks again!

Hi TBC,

can you tell me what module or component you using for Login to you site? This is a standard Joomla Login module or it is a component com_user?

Have you a link to you login page then I can see?

Regards

Hi,

if you look in the Login module parameters there is a Login Redirect Page. Select Forum.
