Where did you download the software you used (converter script and Fireboard pack)?
Did attachments to posts follow in the process?

It's a bit of a roundabout way (though it took me about 30 mins. total) but it works like a charm. Sorry to say that attachments are not imported however.

All the info is in this topic:
www.kunena.org/forum/101-k-10-installati...-kunena-step-by-step

And the old Kunena version:
joomlacode.org/gf/project/kunena/frs/?ac...&frs_package_id=4341

My steps were:
phpbb3 -> Fireboard -> Kunena 1.04 -> Kunena 1.5 -> Kunena 1.6 (which sounds horrible but importing and updating is done automagically in minutes, so it's not as bad as it looks ;))

I'm just glad I've converted from phpBB3 to Kunena 1.6 and didn't wait any longer
Same time I wonder what everybody else is waiting for; if you want to migrate you can ..?
Just go for it ;)

Well that's the problem, some of us can't. I can't migrate unless all attachments are carried over too. And there are a couple other caveats too. I was hoping the drought of updates was due to the holidays, and I'm looking forward to seeing progress on development of this migrator.

Since no more updates are being offered despite repeated pleas in this topic and others over the last 2 months, I'm starting to think we've all been had :(
