Kunena 7.0.4 Released
The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.4 [K 7.0.4] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0

That's very good news 
Performance is a very important factor for all of us...
However, I would like to mention here that although it is very good that you guys always move fast forward, you shouldn't forget to fix the behavior of a very important plugin for kunena users, the discussbot:

As soon as we have 1.6.1 out there we will turn our attention to the modules and plugins. Just wanting to make the core stable and bug free first.

We hear you loud and clear. We use the discuss bot here on the site and are seeing the issues. At the same time there are literally 100x more people that first need to get 1.6.x problems resolved. If you check the work and amount of hours we have been putting into this - as a free donation to the community, you will see that this is more than a full time job.
As soon as we can spare a couple hours away from helping the community get over the initial hurdles, we will focus on that. We did not ever have a discuss bot before, we shared the pre-release so to collect feedback and find issue. We see a lot of demand, but not always contributions that help.
Remember we don't own this as a product, we don't sell any portions of it, we are here to help each other and we will do so with as much time as we can afford away from our day jobs and families.
We said we will look into it once 1.6.0 gets stable enough to stand on its own and we stay to that.
Feel free to join in and help out in any way you can, but please don't remind us every day what else we should be doing.
