The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 6.1.1 [K 6.1.1] which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 4.2.x/4.3.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.1.0 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 6.1

Introduction

The Kunena team is proud to announce the arrival of Kunena 4.0.0 [K 4.0.0] which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 2.5.28 and J! 3.4.1. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 3.0 and issues discovered during the development stages of K 4.0. The Crypsis template works only on Bootstrap 2x Templates, for B3 it will be availible this week.

Very clean. Functional. Outstanding work.

I wish the component could be adapted to work with Wordpress, as I'm migrating most of my sites to that platform. Those with highly active forums, though, will remain with Joomla because of Kunena.

K4.0 is quite possibly the most beautiful forum software that I have seen! The team have outdone themselves. The project definitely deserves more advertising and I for one will evangelize for the Kunena project whenever I get the chance. You guys need VC funding or something (kickstarter?).
