Question Kunena Latest 1.7.1 as 1.6 and variables without content.

Hmmm ... until a short while ago your signature showed that you were using K 1.7.1-DEV and that would have explained a lot. According to the K 1.7.1 Read Me , the language strings for pt_BR are included in K 1.7.1. This does not, however, explain why your site thinks that you're trying to install Kunena Discuss 1.6.0-RC1 and that's what's confusing me. Any chance we can see your K 1.7 configuration report?

Forget it all Sozzled! By reading your last post it brought me an insight and I found the variables issue, that wasn't really a issue!
When I read your post, I remembered that I'm using the back-end set as pt-br, and I was using the KunenaLatest as pt-br too. The KunenaLatest 1.7.1 doesn't come with the pt-br.ini language file, so I was using the previous kunenalatest.ini language file (1.6.0 RC1) that a long time ago I think I had translated it and didn't remind it, and once we uninstall the module, it doesn't delete the language file into the Language/pt-br folder it kept there when I tried to uninstall and install over the 1.7.1. So, when using the back-end as pt-br KunenaLatest 1.7.1 was calling the kunenalatest.ini from pt-br folder. I don't know hot the modules call these language files, but I think to avoid that in the future the files name should have its version number added in its name. So, if it was named as mod_kunenalatest171.ini wouldn't call the previous version. Well, I'm not sure if it must have tha same name as the module. Well, in sum, it is solved.

I'll update the pt-br.ini file for KunenaLatest 1.7.1 and when I get it done I'll share into the Kunena Add-ons > Kunena Latest.
