Kunena 7.0.4 Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.4 [K 7.0.4] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0

Is there any update on this topic? I spent all day making site over from scratch so I could have Joomla 1.6 and Kunena rather than my previous Joomla 1.5 and Agora. HAHA. I saw that this plugin existed and I assumed it would work since the version is 1.6 and the forums work fine in Joomla 1.6

In a nutshell, I'm a doofus and does anybody have any information if this person was ever allowed to release his edited version of this plugin for testing? Thanks.
