Kunena 7.0.6 & Kunena 6.4.12 – Security Updates Released
The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.6 [K 7.0.6] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0.
The Kunena team is also pleased to announce the twelfth version of Kunena 6.4, a native Joomla extension for Joomla! 5.0, 5.1, 5.2, 5.3, 5.4 and 6.0.
This category is for the plugin developed, endorsed, maintained and supported by the Kunena project team. The topics in this category only relate to the plugin developed for K 1.6 and later versions.

Hi Liz.
It's somewhat weird, that if I configure the plugin this way:
"Show on Front Page" and "Show on Blog Pages" == Nothing.
"Show on Other Pages" == Link
"Enable Quick Reply" == Yes
...then on blog pages, the Quick Reply boxes appear. With this configuration, I expect a link to appear.
If I set "Show on Other Pages" == Nothing, then the quick reply boxes, as well as link to existing and non-existing discussions, dissapear.
Now, regarding your suggested hack. I can confirm that is removes the quick reply boxes from Blog Pages - nice. However, on article pages, those articles that don't already have a discussion, doesn't show any way to discuss it
As of now, I see no other options than to disable the Kunena Discuss plugin. I hope a future version will be able to address these issues, as I really like the goal of this plugin.
