Kunena 7.0.4 Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.4 [K 7.0.4] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0

Topics that are moved into this category are generally considered to be closed. Users may want to add additional information but these topics should not be resurrected in order to discuss new problems or unrelated matters.

i got this upgrade error when trying to upgrade from 1.6.2 to 1.6.3, but it looks like everything down below went fine..

This is the Joomla installers cryptic way of telling you there was a permissions problem. You might have changes 1 or a few files by hand and the Joomla installer cannot remove/overwrite the file(s).

You can try to uninstall Kunena in the Joomla extensions manager and then do a fresh install. (As always: backup highly recommended!)

no - everything will stay as it is kept in the database. Still backup - just to be safe.
