I use always a trick, when is a blank page. Maybe it works also for you.
Remove the "go=next" from the browser adress > click "Enter" > and "Next"

Dead end, unfortunately. There was no such URL that could be amended like you said. I tried a few combinations but without deep knowledge about what parameters to use and how... Its diffucult.
If I can't make it complete the upgrade, I have no other choice but to remove to component and re-install Kunena...

Theoretically, you should be able to uninstall K 1.6 and you will not lose anything (i.e. you will not lose your configuration settings or your forum messages). Theoretically, you should then be able to install K 1.6.3 after that ... theoretically. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you.

Good idea indeed. Unfortunately it didn't work.
I could uninstall Kunena allright, and I could see it disappear from the list of installed components.
But upon install, the same thing happened. I got the screen where I could select between 3 options; the ones I mentioned before. I chose the first, the green "Upgrade" and again I got the blank screen...

Hello,
Do you have tried to enable debug mode in Joomla! configuration panel to see there is behind the blank page ?
Do you have look in your php or apache log ?
