I have succesfully upgraded Joomla to 1.5, and have a working copy of Kunena 1.0.11 installed with all of the users and the migrated database functioning correctly.

To tackle the upgrade of Kunena, should I attempt it incrementally (i.e. 1.0 to 1.5, then to 1.6) or should I just try to upgrade straight to 1.6?

Thanks.

I would go straight to Kunena 1.6.3 -- I even test upgrading large database from your version to the latest as I accidentally have backup from it. :)

Thanks for the reply.

I tried to run the upgrade, but ran into an sql syntax problem, it was using "type=myisam" instead of "engine=myisam". I encountered this problem during the joomla 1.5 installation, and edited the install sql file to the new syntax.

My question is where to find the file referenced in the sql error that is still using "type=myisam"?

I did a search on the forums, other people have had this problem, but there dosen't appear to be any solutions posted.

Thanks in advance.

Hello,

What mysql version do you have ?

I don't provide support by PM, because this can be useful for someone else.
