Question Why Always Problematic ?

Thank you for the info. In order to simulate the problem, I used Akeeba Backup to backup the Production site from the Justhost server and restored it onto my laptop. In short, Kunena 1.6.1 installation behaved differently on my laptop and justhost server though they're of the same copy.

At the end, I need to uninstall both Simplified and Traditional Chinese packs in order to get it installed on the Justhost server without termination.

My Joomla is 1.5.22 but the Chinese packs installed are still 1.5.17, I don't know if this will be the cause of the problem. Yet, I haven't tested the sites installed with Malay and Indonesian language packs.


Later, I'll update all the language packs to be of the same version as the English pack 1.5.22 before I install Kunena 1.6.1 and see if this problem still persists.

I also had this frustrating problem when upgrading form Fireboard 1.5RC1 to Kunena 1.6

Thanks for posting this solution as I was getting the logout issues on both the install of 1.6 migration and the straight 1.6 install (ignoring the old data).

Removing the extra language did the trick.
