Kunena 7.0.4 Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.4 [K 7.0.4] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0

i tried to upgrade Kunena in my 1.6 test site. Here's the error message:

500 - An error has occurred.

Another menu item has the same alias in Root. Root is the top level parent

Wait, never mind! The upgrade worked. Fracking awesome!

Now i just have to fix Joomla.

Joomla 1.7 is picky on menu items. You probably already had menu item called "Forum". Find and delete (or rename) it. Then empty trash (it cannot exist at all) and create Kunena menu again from Kunena admin.

i'm in 1.6.(something) for now. i can get to Kunena and it looks right. It's the ONLY component that seems to be working. i can't get anything else to appear. But that's a Joomla problem.
