I'm loving 1.6 but now I have the following issue.....
When you go directly to the forums you have the Joomla menus on the LHS as you will see if you go to but if you click on any of the tabs ( for example, we loose the left hand menus.

Any ideas on how I can fix this?

Many thanks

Matt

Hello,

If i understand right, you want to disable the modules when you are into the forum pages.

So, read this doc : docs.kunena.org/index.php/How_I_can_get_..._Forum_in_my_site%3F

I don't provide support by PM, because this can be useful for someone else.

Actually it's sort of the other way around... it's that I DONT want it to be full width. It's weird because under normal use, it isnt full width (the LHS sidebar is still there) but once I click on one of the tabs (New Topic for example) the Side Bar disappears. Any ideas?

Thanks for your help though

Matt,

This is controlled from within Joomla. Any module you want to show on the forum pages, you need to make sure that all the forum links are highlighted in the module-menu assignment.

Here is an example:

Modules are only shown on pages they are assigned to (or ALL).

Hope this helps!

We love stars on the Joomla Extension Directory . :-)

Hey, thanks fxstein, but this is how I have configured Joomla (and hence I do have the module when you go to the forum. Its only when you click one of the kunena tabs that it disappears. Have a go for yourself.

Oh my good lord!!
OK, I hadn't realised, but when 1.6 installed, it created "sub" entries in that section (as you showed in your image). I hadn't gone back in and selected them (dont think they were available in 1.5.9). All sorted.

THANK YOU SO MUCH GUYS!!
(p.s. just a quickie.... any idea how I can remove a tab I dont want the "help" tab)
