The matter has been looked into. The issue has not been fixed. I think these things are bound up with something fxstein informed me a while ago: he's trying to see if a later version of Mootools can be stabilised and integrated into the Joomla core. Unfortunately there isn't a fix for this for Google Chrome at the present time. Sorry. :(

I haven't had time to test Mootools 1.3 with Google Chrome (and there is anecdotal evidence to support the view that Mootools 1.3 may not work with K 1.6 anyway). Would you be willing to try this out for yourself? On a test site, obviously.

That's one alternative.

Another alternative is to seek a different lightbox plugin that will work in Google Chrome. Whichever way you look at it, there are strategic issues that aren't that easy to solve at the present time. Unfortunately there isn't a fix for this for Google Chrome at the present time. Sorry. :(

around you talking about the lightbox issue or the profile alignment issue?

Sorry for confusing things. I've edited my previous message. These two things may be related ... but then again they may not.

I am wondering if this very good question was answered? Do the problems that occur with the existing website template occur if you used rhuk_milkyway?
