I'm a blind user/webmaster. My wife helps some, but she's not very good at coding, etc.
My screen reader doesn't say anything about images and when my wife looks, she says it's all just text and text links - no images. I tried changing the forum template to see if that would help, but it didn't.
If anyone can help, I will greatly appreciate it. I can set up an admin account if needed to check the back end of my site. or, I can provide a debug report for the site.

thanks in advance,
Flip

Hello,

Please check that your CSS is correctly loaded or has the correct permissions to be read.

I don't provide support by PM, because this can be useful for someone else.

hey, xillibit, thanks for the reply.
Before I change anything, I just wanted to check - all of my files are CHMOD to 644 and my folders are 755. That's correct, isn't it??
If not, what should they be?
thanks again,
Flip

Hey sozzled,

After your last post I double checked both the file and folder perms and all apears correct,
files= 644 and folders= 755.
Guess I will waite till morning when my wife gets home to dubble check that my screen reader is reading things in the correct order and post back at that time.
Thanks much for your time and help.

ps, Just a note to also let you and the other devs know that K1.6 seems very accessible for people using screen readers, GREAT JOB!!!

Thank you very much for the encouraging reply that you sent. I don't think enough people realise just how important it is to design web content in a way that makes it accessible to people with disabilities and we appreciate feedback on ways that we can improve Kunena in that respect. I would like to be able to do more to understand what seems to be the problem that you are currently having but I cannot access your website at the moment without an account.

Perhaps you might be able to reply with details of an account that will allow us to see Kunena in operation at your site so that we might have a better understanding of the problem. You can do this by using the "confidential" tags, as shown below:
Code:
[confidential]Username, passwerd[/confidential]
Thank you. :)
