I'm not sure if this is the proper place to post this but here goes. I installed Kunena Forum v.1.7 in my Joomla 2.5 website. My website uses a Rocket theme template. Everything works great except the editor. When someone tries to post the boardcode displays as vertical text links and not horizontal icons (see Attachment). The post is still successful.

I have been searching the forums for hours and I've tried every suggestion I have found but none work. I would appreciate any suggestions offered! Thanks!

What a templating disaster!

We've seen cases where templates render Joomla menus in a vertical (as opposed to horizontal) arrangement of items - see [Merged topic] Menu tabs display vertically ) - but I've never encountered anything like this case! I suspect the reason for this problem but, for the benefit of anyone else reading this topic, here is general advice that everyone should read first:

Please read as general background My Joomla site template makes a mess of Kunena.

It is important that people read the article I've just mentioned because, if you bought a template from one of the leading Joomla template providers, you're entitled to their support and it's in their interests. too, to make sure that their products work nicely with Kunena. B)

I suspect that the cause of the problem, in this case, is a Rockettheme plugin, RokGZipper most likely. If you have it enabled, try disabling RokGZipper.
