Thanks for your answer! Then I will follow your indications :cheer:

I was doing correctly the uploading of buttons, but I have had to change the buttons into Blue Eagle template too, so it drives me to one question; how can I change the name of my currently template to display it in templates management into Kunena backend? (Blue Eagle template has the same name that the template I'm using because I duplicated it to modify one)

And last question about Firebug: When I analize an element,Firebug shows a column at right with some names of .css files, but how can I see which file I must edit? I mean, Firebug ussually shows only .css files, even when I select an element that I know it's into a .php file.

Thank you!!

Firebug will probably tell you that most of the elements are defined by kunena.forum-min.css This is not a file that you should directly modify. See Minified CSS .

I realise that all of this seems unnecessarily complicated but, when you think about it, the people who have developed templates for Kunena have had to work these things out, too. B)

sozzled wrote: The "Mark all topics read" button is probably the easiest one to fix. The fix is probably something like adding, to your site template file, the following 3 lines

Code:
#Kunena .klist-markallcatsread input.kbutton { font-size: 12px; }

Search for "button sets" in this site to find out how to add your own buttons.

Hi again! :P

I have no success with the button; I have put it in some differents files to try, but it doesn't work for me. Could you specify which file?

Thank you!!

I look at this topic "Help to use K 1.5 templates (or modify K 1.6)" and I think to myself, what is it that you are asking us to do for you?

Our job, at www.kuinena.org , is to help people adapt (as necessary) the standard Kunena template to people's websites. Most of the time this involves changing your Joomla site template. For the free service that we offer, our job is not to hack, twist or otherwise manipulate the standard Kunena template simply because people don't like it. People have the option to build their own templates, if they wish, and we have provided articles in the Wiki to help people achieve that. For everyone else, there are commercial services or other members of the community who may be able to assist you.

In this topic we have only been able to provide you with the theory. The specific application of that theory depends entirely on what you have at your website. Until, or unless, we can see the problem at first hand, we can only continue to offer you general advice.

In what way, specifically, are you having a problem and what, specifically, is the help that you need or expect? :S

The solution is in your hands. I am only trying to help you find it with you ... not necessarily for you.

Hi Sozzled; you explained it to me when I opened the thread and I undestood it, so in my last post I was asking for a solution of one problem that it's showed in the default template of Kunena 1.6.

Of course, I want try to solve it with your help, not to solve you for me, but I can't continue searching for the "Mark all topics read" problem because I don't know where I must look.

Thanks!

The "problem" with the Mark all topics read button, as you describe it, is caused by your site template. I thought we had clearly established this point a long time ago. Everyone has their own site template and, therefore, everyone is likely to have a different "problem". The real problem, for us, is trying to help everyone with a million different kinds of possible causes to these "problems".

The solution is for people to understand the causes of their problems and to deal with them, themselves. I have already said, several times in this topic, that if you are unable to assist in fixing the problem yourself - if you do not have the necessary knowledge about CSS or of making changes to your site template - that there are commercial services available to do these things for you.

We could probably have solved your particular problem - the one affecting the "Mark all topics read" button - a month ago if you had provided us with the URL of your website. Thank you for giving us pictures; they were helpful - they illustrate the issues - but pictures are not a substitute for the real thing.

I have already advised you to make a change to your Joomla site template, to add three lines to the end of your site template file. If you do not know where your Joomla site template file is, I'm sorry, neither do we. Firebug will tell you which CSS files are loaded on your site and you can use that information to make the necessary changes yourself.
