Will the forum also narrower?
My joomla site is not across the board and when I open the forum, this is not nice, so I would possibly also in the forum narrower, if possible.
If possible how can I do that?

I'm not sure I understand your problem but I think that you are saying that Kunena is too narrow to display the messages properly. Is this right?
These problems are invariably the caused by the site template that you are using. See How I can get the full width for Kunena Forum in my site? as one possibility.
If you install Firebug for Firefox you will be able to pinpoint exactly what is causing your problems. Does this help?

How much smaller, in width, do you want it? A picture and a link to your website would help. Have you tried using
Firebug
for Firefox to experiment with different sizes?

The picture you posted shows that the forum width is already too narrow to display all the information ... and you want to make things even narrower? :S You can pinpoint the cause(s) of your problems using
Firebug
. If you cannot understand how to use Firebug than please post a working link to your website forum. Thank you.
I don't think you want the forum narrower. I think you want your forum wider. I could be wrong but we really need to see your website to appreciate the issues that you appear to be having.
