Kunena 7.0.5 & Kunena 6.4.11 – Security Updates Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.5 [K 7.0.5] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0.

The Kunena team is also pleased to announce the eleventh version of Kunena 6.4, a native Joomla extension for Joomla! 5.0, 5.1, 5.2, 5.3, 5.4 and 6.0.

I just installed this file: com_kunena_v1.6.4_b4832_2011-05-07. Is that correct? I am not very proficient with the backend of the site. The forums have been working - so I am confused about the YOOTools error.

YOOTools is a feature of the YOOTheme template. This is not something that is installed by Kunena. I suggest that you contact YOOTheme templates to enquire about an updated version of their template.

You may also try, as well, using the standard, default Blue Eagle Kunena template (but I don't think this will make any difference).

When you wrote that you recently upgraded Kunena, what version were you using before? Did you read K 1.6 Upgrade Guide ? You may have to go back to the older version you were using before these problems began, just to get through the weekend.
