Question Multi-lingual website - Forum moderation gives HTTP 500 errors

You should not be getting HTTP 500 error messages at all. Diagnosing HTTP 500 internal server messages is tricky. You need to enable Joomla debug mode and you need to set error reporting to maximum and look in the Apache error logs to see what's going on.

It looks to me like a Joomla problem. It looks like the problem is complicated because it's a multi-lingual website. I don't know enough about how to setup multi-lingual websites and what provision you need to make for .htaccess files and so on and so forth or whether these things might even be involved.

Maybe someone else in the community might have some tips for you.

Thanks again, - yes, I think I need to go back to Joomla, - actually come to think of it, I had another kind of problem that was the same, when I was making an internal link with url links.. anyway, - I think theres some weird stuff going on ... where ever it is.
What you say I should do with enabling debug mode and look into error logs .. that I am sure is beyond me, - so that is not an option..

I am not too happy with it ...
But anyway, thanks for your help and say hello to Canberra from me ... even though I am from Denmark, Canberra is another base of mine .. every now and then.

Thank you for your question and for posting the stack trace of your HTTP 500 Internal Server error but your problem is different to the previously-asked question. In your case, you have a database connection issue.
