I am working on a site, and have installed Kunena forum. It all works all right, except after I tried to assign a moderator to the forum.
When the moderator moderates something, - the message shown in the attached file shows, - if I (being moderator) click on the link to the homepage, I do get correctly back to the Frontpage, - and the changes I have requested (moderation) is effectuated. But I dont understand why I have to go around this way.
I asked in Joomla support, they think it is a data base fault of some kind ... does anyone know ?
I am actually unsure of which version I am using ... this is what is on my computer and I think this is the one I uploaded to Joomla..

I include the report configuration settings.

G'day, helene, and welcome to Kunena.

The first observation I would make is that you upgrade to K 1.6.3 to see if this upgraded version fixes your current problems.

The next points that I would make are to refer you to the article Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) in the Wiki and to remind you about how to assign moderators to your forum categories.

If you have these things properly set up in your site then it might help (after you have upgraded to K 1.6.3, of course) if you post your K 1.6 configuration report.

G'day, thanks for answering, -
I will do as you suggest, - try to upgrade first of all..

Just one question, - I can upgrade to that version without loosing any of the forum structure which has been build up by now ??? Is that correct ?

I have just actually posted my present configuration report ;) .. but I will do it again after updating then..

Yes, that is correct. See K 1.6 Upgrade Guide - read it carefully. ;)

I suggest that you read the link I gave earlier about how to implement SEO and double-check that your settings and .htaccess file are what is recommended in the Wiki guide.

so I will be back here again if things doesnt work eventually, - but maybe not today .. :)

Hmm... I did try it now.

I installed the version you mentioned. I read the instructions on how to assign moderators, - I am pretty sure I did what it says I should do.
I get excatly the same fault error on the testsite ...
Also if I log in with the admin login, where I should also be able to moderate, - I get the same error, - but the moderation though is done when I return to the home page via the link in the error message ...

I also looked at the SEO that you mentioned, - the setting were as they should, except the last, but after changing it - still the same result.

So now what can I do ??
