Hi sozzled. Thanks for your prompt reply. Sorry I didn't uninstalled the My Kunena Forum Menu before. I was thinking you wanted me to uninstall the Menu that is on the forum itself, the one where we find "Index", "Recent Topics", "New Topic", etc. I didn't realize you were talking about a plugin called My Kunena Forum Menu that I was not even aware I had. But I took care of that already. I removed it and changed the Kunena configuration settings to match the ones you gave me, except for the "Login and Registration" option, that I needed to leave as "Auto Detect" since I have a JFacebook module that lets people get registered using their Facebook accounts.

I haven't experienced any other problems even with JavaScript conflicts or any other than being redirected to Google.

I just created a short video that shows what I can see from here. It's me clicking on the "update" button and you'll see it takes me to IGoogle, my personalized page of Google, which is not my homepage anymore.

Here's the link for the video:

Here's my new Report Configuration Settings. Please, let me know your opinion as I am totally lost here. Thanks once again for your patience. I deeply appreciate your time and patience with all this!!!!

Hi everyone. I wanted to let you know I finally found out what was causing this problem. It was a plugin called osolCaptcha and the version I had installed was 1.0.5. They have now a new one 1.0.6 that seems to work OK.

A little bit of a description on how I could determine this. I noticed the problem I had of being redirected to Google was not only when I was trying to update my profile from Kunena but also from Joomla's User Manager as well. So what I did is I unpublished all the plugins and started publishing them one by one and at the same time testing by clicking on the "Update" button on my Joomla user manager's page. When I got to the "osolCaptcha" plugin and published it, I tried to update my profile but I was immediately redirected to Google. I unpublised it and tried again and I could update my profile with no problems. I went to Joomla Extension's website and looked for this plugin and saw they had a newer version than the one I had installed, so I updated this plugin from the Joomla's back end, enabled it, tried updating my profile from Joomla's administrator page and Kunena and I it worked fine.

I wanted to thank xillibit and sozzled for your priceless support. I hope my experience with this may be of some help to any other person who may happen to be in the same situation I was. Have a lovely day, everyone!
