Understood your logic but as an example in this forum (kunena.org), I can still edit posts from nine months ago, right? At least I see the EDIT button lol and in another of my sites with the previous version of kunena, no problem for the registered user to edit the post, however there is an indication of edition reason and date.
I'm quite lost to be honest...lol
Thanks again for your support and time sozzled.

I asked you, several messages ago, if you could provide us with a test account (a normal, unprivileged, registered user's account). Could you make that possible, please?
I'm fishing for suggestions without really knowing what's actually happening on your website.
Can you tell us ... do you have problems seeing the Edit button when you are logged in as the website administrator?

I don't provide support by PM, because this can be useful for someone else.

Solved!
It was limited to 600 sec instead of 0 for unlimited on the edition authorization.
Thanks again, now fixed

Yes, thank you, audisport. There is a problem with the French language files that we will fix and xillibit will let French users know when the new language file will be available for download.
I made a mistake earlier when I referred to User Edit Grace Time as the thing responsible for hiding the Edit button. It was not that setting at all; it is the User Edit Time setting that is responsible for how long the Edit button is displayed. The French language file switched the order of these two fields.
Thank you for helping us to discover this issue. I apologise for thinking that this was a Common Question. I was wrong. This really was a Support issue.
