Have you considered the idea of reverting to Kunena's stardard configuration settings. If I remember right (and we've already seen how poor is my memory!) the default settings don't allow visitors to view users' profiles. Have you considered the idea of clicking the Default button on the K 1.6 forum configuration page ... just in case?

It would be good to get to the bottom of this issue.

I'm wondering, garikello. There is a common thing that you and PascM share. You, both of you, use Rockettheme templates. That's the last thing that I would have suspected but maybe there's something in Rockettheme templates (or one of the add-ons) that's causing this "security hole"?

Thank you, PascM. It's what I figured might be the case. This is very very strange indeed ... because I can't reproduce the symptoms with K 1.6.2. Did you read my post to garikello? I would really like to understand what is causing the problem. Maybe someone else can shed some light on the situation?
