I just upgraded to J! 1.5.22 and I still cannot reproduce the symptoms of this problem. Would you like me to show you my test site? You can see it for yourself.

I disabled SEO and, what do you know? I can now see my user profiles. :woohoo:

There's the answer!

I always knew that enabling SEO was one of the most important things that all users should do when you create any Joomla website and now we've found an extra reason! B) Kunena needs it to implement forum security!

So, what you you need to do is simple. Enable SEO and see if that fixes the problem. Thank you very much for helping us identify what's going on.

 Well it's not that easy unfortunately!

The problem comes back if i try sh404sef... i am not sure now if this is sh404sef issue or Kunena issue... ;)

Now i am confused again!!!

Edit: I think it's kunena issue because some how the route of it's links is not correct. I think a dev should check that, my knowledge stops somewhere here :(

I do not use sh404SEF. I just use standard Joomla SEO. I did not mention anything about sh404SEF. I suggest that you look at the category sh404SEF for help in that area.

We do not use sh404SEF at www.kunena.org either; you don't see the problems here, do you? We do not test Kunena with sh404SEF and we recommend that users should disable sh404SEF when they have large forums because sh404SEF causes performance problems.
