OMG - You are totally right! I tried another non-heirloom template (just to clear my great great great grandmother's friend's good name as you seem so intent upon defiling it, you understand) and there were similar problems on other pages (that seemingly had nothing to do with Kunena although I have decided to hire a private investigator just in case so you should be very very cautious...just a warning).

So there is clearly that problem. NOWWWWWWWW....there is another problem. Which is good cause when you finally get to the second problem on a joomla installation, you can start to feel like the end of your woes is just around the corner as there are a mere 14,907 more problems to go as opposed to the 14,908 problems you started with. So there's that. However, before we go too far down the road here, I feel that I ought to correct a Little Misunderstanding. Namely, I am not a retarded American. Meaning that I am perhaps retarded by international standards but by American standards, I fall somewhat shy of being retarded. I am however, extremely disorganized and when you wrote "eastern Australia", I thought east was the other way (toward India rather than toward Hawaii or whatever else is out there I would not know because I am American). So actually, yes I DO know what is on that end of Australia (namely Sydney, the Reef, and south (ie: down) is Melbourne and then just north is the wine country and the interior I am actually somewhat slightly non-retarded (by international standards) and a mega-genius by American standards. But as for the other coast, WTF IS on the other coast? Like a cpl small towns right? The issue with regard to which way is east I attribute to the fact that if *I* lived in a country that was shaped like Australia (or rather a continent), it would be clear to me that the freaken thing was upside-down and I would turn the map over the other way so it looked more normal. And in that situation, which way was east and which was west would definitely be a cunundrum. (does spell-check even KNOW how to spell cunundrum or am I on crack. Again.) But rest assured, I am a virtual expert in All Things Australian and have done extensive research in this area. Mainly by watching Crocodile Dundee several times, a few of which were the super slo-mo frame-by-frame way you can do it if you have a good DVD player. Which I do as I was planning to ge serious with my studies of Australia.

Ok so back to the computer problem. So now it says it thinks there is no such page when you select the "Main Forum" or whatever from the scroll down list on the (very strange-looking improperly formatted due to something other than the poor virtue of my great great great grandmother's friend) little selector thingies. So I am thinking it is not a configuration problem and therefore I think I do not have to do that boring formatting thing you mentioned. Is that correct?

Well, let me know. =)

See you in church.

PS Abt the Pinot. I was at these rich ppl's house the other day and the man was a physician and he dragged out a pinot that didn't suck. Which was very confusing because I always thought that ppl who drink pinots are poser mamma's boys (just for informational purposes...you are not a pinot drinker are you?). But this Pinot was actually great. The man said "OH!!!!! You like PINOT!!!" (he was very excited. So I said "Not the pinot *I* can afford but it turns out I really like the pinot YOU can afford. Can I come back tomorrow?"

PS Trying the report configuration stuff. I guess now would be a good time to mention that I am retarded about Joomla (even by US standards). Is that report through the front end? Or can I ftp it out the "back end" if you will? If it's through the front end, what is the main header - I looked in configuration and I'm getting no love.

Send help.

Pinots and Merlots are a slight improvement from quaffing methylated spirits. Personally I prefer a good, agéd bottle of Shiraz.

Staying with your webssite issues for a short moment: let's change that site template now before we look at any other problems that you might be having with Kunena ... or with Joomla (in general). I recommend that you use a reliable, reputable site template (you could start with rhuk_milkyway or JA_Purity - two templates that ship with Joomla) and I would like to see you website using something like that first, please. Nothing too fancy. Let's stay with the KISS approach.

Hello, how funny are you? Answers on a postcard please.

I believe you may have this issue because I have an issue like this sometimes. I find it happens after I turn on SEF in Joomla! The way to fix the problem is to look in the configuration.php file and there is a setting which is not in the global configuration under the administrator bit of Joomla! All you need to do is put your site address there.

var $live_site = '';

That's what you need to find. I could be wrong, but if it helps I'd sure be happy for you, and of course your great great aunt or whoever it was.
