Question Javascript errors

I get below javascript errors after installing kunena.And when i disable MTUpdate plugin, the errors disappear. And the errors only appear on a certain template (mystore 2.0.1 of Gavick), so obviously it's a template issue.Any ideas on how to solve this ?

1st please post your configuration report.
2nd please make sure the site is configured the way you run into those issues. Maybe it is but I am getting very different errors from your mega menu.

Well i hope i can sort this out asap, because i dont wanna give up on Kunena nor mystore template.I like em both very much.I would hate to switch to agora or other joomla template.

Definitely a template compatibility issue. This template does not work on the latest mootools version that come with J1.5.20 and J1.6. Unfortunately the legacy mode they built into mtupgrade does not solve that either.

I googled for the errors and found some long support threads on JoomlArt

Eventually they will need to find a fix for that. It is probably only a few lines of code in their mega menu but it needs to get updated. Just Like Joomla 1.0 apps had to updated for 1.5

The only tip I have for you is to disable the mega menu and see if it works with a different menu option - in the same template.

As for template alternatives I can recommend RocketTheme. They have updated the last 2 years of templates to work with mootools 1.2.4+

As I know (may be all of) the Gavick templates and extensions are using as default JavaScript framework MooTools in version 1.11

Well, the other menu works, but it also gives the same error 3 times instead of 4.So i am assuming it is not only caused by the menu.

Any ideas how to fix those errors ?

Would it hurt if i disable the mtupgrade plugin to get rid of the errors ?
