i managed to track down the problem, 1 user feels updating java isn't necessary and refuses to update java. other users were not running up to date IE. which causes the posting body not to "wrap". and the user that couldn't even load anything was caused by his Nortons

Thank you for the follow-up. It's good to know that this isn't an issue caused by K 1.6.

Just for future reference, when people report their problems in any of the designated support categories, it's very important for us to know whether those things can be traced to defects within Kunena. It's not that it's important for the developers to know this - particularly during this time when their effort is being poured into establishing a stable public release of Kunena - it's also very important for other users to be aware of these things. For example, if someone posted a message with the subject heading "Kunena does not work with FireChrome Explorer℗!" other users, on seeing this in the subject title will probably say to themselves, "I have FireChrome Explorer℗. I'd better read about this because this might affect me, too!"

Whatever you can do to help us to better understand the nature of the problem - where and under what conditions it occurs and what happens when it happens - and, in general, what are the circumstances of the user who is affected by this problem ... all of this information would be very helpful. ;)

Thanks again, I'm glad you got your problem sorted out.
