You need to change it too, you need to have only #__kunena_messages

I don't provide support by PM, because this can be useful for someone else.

This looks totally bizarre. It looks (to me) like your Kunena source code has mysteriously transformed itself into something unworkable! These PHP/SQL statements are syntactically wrong. One can only wonder how they crept into your installation? Perhaps, a re-installation of Kunena or even a manual replacement of the Kunena source will cure the condition?

BTW, did you also upgrade the other Kunena add-ons that you're using, too?

I know sozzled, that's why i was banging my head from the wall the past 24hrs... btw i've updated all except discuss bot since i'm not using it.

If i start the installation of 1.7.1 again, what would it do? Just asking but to be honest i'll leave it the way it is since everything seems to be working as it should now.

Thanks again
Baze

You should not have to do anything (there isn't a lot that you can do anyway) since the installation of Kunena is an automated process that replaces all files in the standard folder locations used by Kunena. Any files that you might have created yourself, for example in a customised template folder, are not replaced, if they aren't "standard" ones. Most of the files we've been talking about here are standard, anyway, and there shouldn't be a problem. If you're not using the Kunena Discuss plugin, it might be advisable to uninstall it.

If you've got things working now, then it might be safer to leave things alone but, you should keep in mind, that when K 1.7.2 is released soon (I don't know when that will be, though) you will need to upgrade again and we hope that you won't run into any further problems later. Good luck and thanks for your co-operation. Thanks, too, xillibit, for your help. :)
