Kunena 7.0.4 Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.4 [K 7.0.4] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0

the default is set to 50 characters max

but it doesnt matter if I set it to 0 or 200, it still does not limit signature length, and when the signature is too big is messes with the template it seems, where some buttons do not show

can someone tell me how to make the max. signature length work, or alternatively, how to disable signatures?

I am useing joomla 2.5.4 and kunena 1.7.2

dont know if it makes any difference, I have also installed alphauserpoints 1.7 but I am still using kunena profile

It seems to be a bug in K1.7.2 which is fixed in K2.0 RC1. Stable is few weeks away.

there is no fix for the current version?


k2 may only be a few weeks away but most people like me will not be implementing it for a while until components/templates become compatible


or preferably I'd like to disable it completely, I found a way to do it on the forum but it is for an older version, can you guide me through the process for the current version?
