"Component not found"???

I don't know ... what component is your site trying to look for? 404 Errors are mainly (but not always) related to your Joomla menu. Your K 1.6 configuration report shows you have a "peculiar" setup for your menus. That's where you need to look: your Joomla menus.

Yes, of course you can access Kunena with SEF URLs enabled. Hundreds of thousands of websites around the world use Kunena with Joomla SEO enabled.

Topics that may help you are:

(1) Search Engine Optimisation (SEO)

(2) Customised menus

I cannot view your website at all and so I don't know what particular problems you see. Your site times out.

That's peculiar, I've just clicked on the link above and it opened right up!

Regarding the menu setup. All links to Kunena are published as per the Kunena Wiki reccomendations with menu alias which points to Kunena Menu items.
All the menu alias items are located in the main menu.

Is there any way you could give me more of an elaboration as to "peculiar". Should I be looking at rearranging the location of the menu alias items as I haven't touched the default kunena menu and have deleted and republished it?

BTW Thank you so much for all your help. I have arrived at many a solution by reading your posts on this forum.

Problem has been solved and was definately a menu related issue. In my case the item aliases that were pointing to the kunena menu items had been published as level 3 items of the main menu with a separator as their parent item. Changing the separator to an alias linking to a kunena item fixed the issue.

Thanks again sozzled for the tip. :woohoo:
