"Disabling Mootools" is only one strategy. There's also "Enabling Mootools" and "Uninstalling old Mootools-dependent Extensions" and "Replace your Joomla Template" and several other strategies. We understand that many people may not be able to find a solution to this problem easily (or they may need expert assistance) and if you feel the need to obtain expert assistance then we may be able to help on a fee-for-service basis.

So, we ask you to read again, carefully, all of the strategies that have been recommended in the Wiki article that was mentioned in the link I gave earlier.

In my case the reason for this was the RT Template Parameter:

(make sure that you set Build Title Spans = off)

Now it seems that everything else works. :laugh:

Our build title spans slider was already off. We have to check some more options. Excellent that you could fix it.

That's a good idea, too, however you will also discover that other Joomla web-based discussion forum software also uses Mootools, too, and you may not be any better off using alternatives. Quite simply, 9 out of 10 of these Javascript conflict issues occur because of the choices people have made using their Joomla site templates. Anyway, our job is not to try to convince you about different ways you might be tackling your web design issues.
