If you cannot produce your K 1.6 configuration report then you have bigger problems than not being able to change the size of avatar images. I don't know what version ofof Joomla you are using or if your site meets the technical requirements but I recommend that you carefully read everything in the K 1.6 Installation Guide and that you try to install Kunena again.

This topic has gone on for three weeks. You do not have a properly working forum. You cannot use simple tools like create a K 1.6 configuration report. You are unaware of how Kunena is structured and you want to hack it. From what you have written, it seems that you have not had a lot of experience in managing internet websites.

I have no idea how busy your site/forum is. Only you can say what your time is worth. You want to know if re-installing Kunena will lose content? I would say that you won't lose content but I don't know if your database is in a fit state that will allow you to re-install Kunena or not. I suspect that re-installing Kunena will erase the software changes that you've made (and that might be a good thing) but I can't say about anything else because I don't know anything about your website. For example, we do not have your K 1.6 configuration report. If we cannot obtain your K 1.6 configuration report what kinds of guarantees are you expecting from us?

Sozzled,

Wow! yes, actually is the first time I have a website and I'm reading some books about these matters when I have time... so, sorry for my doubts
Well, I could re-install the kunena 1.6.3 version with no problems and all data remains same, so the database is good :)

Below I send you the K 1.6 configuration report

Good. Well, before you mess things up, make a backup of your site. Experiment with Kunena as it came, "out of the box", and resist the urge to change things unless you know what you are doing.

When you have your site back online we might have a look at it.
