Okay, I am still using Kunena, and I still love your software completely and never plan on switching. :)

Anyways, i have two questions for you guys. Maybe I can get fast, responsive help like before. :)

1) -
In my Kunena Forums, my modules disappear when I switch pages in the forums....For example go to games.diskuzit.com and go to my forums tab in the top menu.

If you switch to the Questions and Suggestions category, you will se all my modules disappear. Why? I have placed all my modules on the right menu items via Joomla's ACP, and they only show up on the forum homepage.

2) - How do I make Kunena recognize my Joomla SEF url's? When you go to games.diskuzit.com and go to the forums tab, you can see that the SEF URL is /forum. If you switch to Questions and Suggestions category for example, the SEF URL changes to /compnent/kunena/questions-and-suggestions.html...How do i amke it to where the URL's are /forum/questions-and-suggestions.html, etc?

Basically, how do I change all the kunena SEF URl's to /forum instead of /component/kunena?

I have switched the SEF URL tab on in Joomla>ACP>Components>Kunena>Configuration, but still nothing.

I think the answer to question 2 may be the answer to questions 1. Because something is going on with the SEF URLs. Because if you go to games.diskuzit.Com/forum/questions-and-suggestions.html all the modules are in place, but if you go to games.diskuzit.com/component/kunena/questions-and-suggestions.html none of the modules appear on the page.

Any help is appreciated. :)

Your first question is the result of how you assign your menu items that display the pages on which those modules have been assigned. This is not a Kunena question. This is a Joomla question.

Your second question: read the guide Search Engine Optimisation (SEO)

In future: ONE subject per topic, thank you ... and choose a meaningful subject that others will want to look at, too. How many people do you know will want to open the topic "Hi gain, I got two questions"? You were lucky that I happened to be passing through.

Thankk you sozzled, and I will do in the future. :)

But, how do I change all the kunena SEF URl's to /forum/example-category instead of /component/kunena/example-category?

You shouldn't have to change anything; it should all be automatic. Other people have asked this question ... often. The key to fixing the problem is to use Joomla SEO. If you've introduced something else into the mix (like a third-party SEF product) then this complicates matters.

Your K 1.6 configuration report would help.

SEF URL tab on in Joomla>ACP>Components>Kunena>Configuration ... I don't understand what this means. I've seen references to ACP (in private discussions that I've had with the site developers, but I've never understood what they were talking about).

ACP =Administration Control Panel :)

Also, no third party SEF compnents or anything, just Joomla's SEO enabled, and Kunenas enabled as well. I dont understand why it is doing this. Kunena Discuss is doing it to. Is /components/kunena a universal SEF URL that kunena uses globally with all their applications so that when a person has SEF enabled it can go to the universal SEF URL?

Ohhh ... is that what it means? :blush: I thought it was like a different brand of breakfast cereal! :D

Joomla SEO:
* Search Engine Friendly URLs: Yes
* Use Apache mod_rewrite: Yes
* Add suffix to URLs: No.
* Rename htaccess.txt = .htaccess

Simple. Have you done that?
