My sub categories / sub forums do not get new messages notifications. The only way to be aware of new messages in those is to look for the last post update..

Am i the only one with this issue?

Okay? Sorry but that doesnt help me. I dont know if you understood what the problem is.

Whenever a new post is made in any of those sub forums, the notification does not appear.

sub-forums will not show the "New!" tag when you are on index. It will show, however, when you enter their parent folder.

The sub-forum folder should still change colour (basically show another img) if new posts have been posted in them. (if this is not the case for you you'll need to check the images of your template to make sure you have a folder image for new posts, and one for old posts).

Finally make sure the "Show New Posts" option is set to yes in your kunena configuration.

Well i fixed that tiny picture issue, but still, now i would like to know if theres anyway to make the parent category to show those notifications. Both picture, and text that says "New Messages". Because right now my staff is considering to make those subforums into normal forums in a whole now category because its way to small and most users do not realize theres new messages. But on the other hand we dont really want that because doing so will make the forum extremely long.

So making the subcategories act the same way as the others forums when it comes to notifications would be just perfect.Again, again the icon on the left, and the text in brackets.

Is there any way to make that happen? Maybe an option in a near future?
