I don't provide support by PM, because this can be useful for someone else.

Hello,
Just go in Kunena control panel and use the function create menu, you don't need to do something else. More information on menus : docs.kunena.com/index.php/Creating_customized_menus

unfortunatly this didn't help me at all I did not see any of this
Creating Menu Item to Main Menu
When you setup Kunena for your site, it's important to add menu item to your main menu. Kunena already does this during installation by adding Forum to Main Menu. But you should take a few minutes of your time to do it better.
1. Go to Menu Item Manager: Menus >> Main Menu (or your own menu)
2. Edit Forum (or create new menu item) ******had to create this
3. Change Type: Alias ********** didnt exist, used
4. Parameters (Basic) >> Menu Item: Kunena Menu - Top >> Forum ******** don't understand this, there was no kunena Mneu - top forum?????
Might retract this, I might have found it.....

Yea, found the create menu button, but it did not create a menu.
and
this information was not present either, and after clicking create menu, there is still no menu on the forums.

Sounds like you are having a similar problem to me. I am seeing the menu when I am looking at the whole forum, but if I go into an individual forum the menu disappears, haven't been able to resolve the problem just yet which is why I am very reluctant to install new software on my very busy forum. As soonas I have resolve the problem, it is going on.
You can see what is going on here. If you click on "introduce yourself" for instance, you will notice the menu disappears

Creating menu works currently only in J1.5, not in J1.6.
We clearly need some screen shots in the wiki.
Do you have Kunena Menu in your menu manager (just like you do have Main Menu etc)..?
Alias is menu alias inside Joomla. You don't need that actually -- you can also build your own menu under entry page in Kunena.

@ Oscarfishlover:
There can be conflict between menu items (you have forum in main menu and another in Kunena Menu). Did you follow the instructions in the wiki article?

I think it is a CSS problem.
No menu is displayed with the following setting:
Module Settings: List
No Menu is displayed with this setting
I see a menu in my forum if i change te setting to Legacy - Horizontal
Module Settings: Legacy - Horizontal
Module is displayed with CSS problems.
Does anyone have a solution for this problem?
Cheers,
Tromp
