User type was created by MarkBoy81
How to hide the user type in posts?

I couldn't find an option in the backend; I could set "Show user statistics" to No, but in that case I would lose the rank image and the post count too.
Instead, I see here on Kunena.com you could hide specifically that user type.
Where should I look?
Thank you a lot again. :)

I think you will find this "ancient" discussion topic very interesting: How is "user type" hidden at www.kunena.com ?

Why don't you test it and tell me?

Just wondering why under my users forum profile information it is displaying the word (user) underneath their name. I've posted a picture as an example. I am using Kunena version 1.7.2 How do I remove it?

It's a configuration setting change. No CSS is involved.

Forum configuration » Plug-ins » Userlist » Show User Type = No

It's may not be the most intuitive way to make the change but, trust me, it works.

Hey thanks for pointing that out. After combing through all the options I somehow overlooked that. Worked great!
