Question Allow guests to see profile

We could probably answer your question (or suggest some way that you can solve your problem) if we saw your configuration report. We remind people to look at the FAQs before they post questions on the forum; sometimes certain questions need more information that people have given when they ask their question. It turns out that you've found a little-known "bug" in K 1.7. We won't be fixing this for K 1.7 but it has been fixed in K 2.0.

This is the workaround: Go to the Joomla Menu Manager, find the menu items in the Kunena menu, and edit the item for "Profile".

Change the menu alias from "profile" to something else (e.g. "user-profile") as long as the menu alias is unique for your site (i.e. there is no other menu item that has the alias of "profile"). This should fix your problem.

We are using as much time as possible to finish it. Most of what's left to do is to finish the templates and fixing some broken features. But even then -- there's a lot of things to be done (and limited amount of time).
