This was moved to the "Common Questions" category because I didn't know any better. :D You agree, don't you, that you insert an image on this website, here, can't you? If that is the case, we have to wonder what you've done on your site to stop this from happening? Maybe you've changed some of the configurations settings? Have you tried going back to the original default settings?

Perhaps if you had a test account on your site where we could try to insert an image we might learn something?

It looks like you have some other software running, a Joomla plugin most likely, that's stripping out [img] tags before they're being processed by [i]Kunena[/i]. Your job is to find what other extensions you have that are running and, systematically, disable them until you get the BBcode to be stored in your Kunena message database. Do you understand? Alternatively, it's possible that your installation of [i]Kunena[/i] was incomplete. You can reinstall [i]Kunena[/i] without any loss of data. It might be worth a shot in the dark. Just to prove that this is not systemic with every installation of Kunena, here's proof that I can insert an image here: [img]http://i.microsoft.com/global/en-us/homepage/PublishingImages/Hero/ms_store_1010_530x320_dk.jpg[/img]

that did not do the trick -- however, it might have....

I restored to default settings earlier today, but it didn't work even after clearing cache etc. However, I did it on a whim after re-installing and now images are working.

Who knows.....

As you have found out (and as I recommended in my first reply to you) going back to the default settings is a good common answer to these kinds of common questions. I'm pleased that we were able to be of some help.
