The Kunena team is also pleased to announce the eleventh version of Kunena 6.4, a native Joomla extension for Joomla! 5.0, 5.1, 5.2, 5.3, 5.4 and 6.0.

It's not that hard, really, and that's a piece of advice that you have to take on faith.
When you install Kunena a menu item is created for you (without you having to do anything) but this item is not published. That's all you have to do: publish a menu item.
You may ask, why isn't the item always published? Good question. The answer is that it's not possible to automate - in a totally fool-proof way - the implementation of a perfectly working menu for every flavour of Joomla and every variation of Joomla site template. The problems are also compounded if you have another menu item that has the alias "forum".
Some people have more problems than others when it comes to understanding Joomla menus. If you have the time, I can show you how to solve the problem. Please see your PM.
OK I did notice that I deleted that menu item in the midst of doing things (to make sure no others have alias forum. So I uninstalled and reinstalled and of course it came back. but after publishing still blank when click the button.
Thank you so much for all your help. I did find the option for component display in the template options! Works like a dream thanks so much for all your help!
