Kunena 7.0.6 & Kunena 6.4.12 – Security Updates Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.6 [K 7.0.6] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0.

The Kunena team is also pleased to announce the twelfth version of Kunena 6.4, a native Joomla extension for Joomla! 5.0, 5.1, 5.2, 5.3, 5.4 and 6.0.

Topics that are moved into this category are generally considered to be closed. Users may want to add additional information but these topics should not be resurrected in order to discuss new problems or unrelated matters.

Question How can I display all categories on index page?

Fixed 'default page' screw up. Have had caching disabled since I started work on site. Selected 'None' parent category id again. Still no luck.

Thanks for all your help. Some variable is bound to fall in place someday. Glad to try any other ideas you have.

See image below:

You see, if you click the link on the home page you only get the General Forum category. If you then click the Index tab you will see all the categories. The Index tab contents are defined by the changes you made. The problem lies with the link on your home page. The link should be Menu Type = Alias.

How have you defined this menu item? This, I believe, is the key to solving the problem. Again, see Customised Menus for the answer. Your K 1.6 configuration report will provide the necessary information I seek. Thank you.

Thank you so much. This last bit of guidance did the trick and all works the way I want it now. I've also learned a few things about Kunena (and Joomla) in the process.

Perhaps with a bit more experience I'll be able to pay it forward for someone else with a similar problem.

Thanks again for your patience and detailed help......Ray
