Sticky How to enable Threaded & Indented buttons

The feature is experimental at this time. The feature is only available in K 1.6.4 - see also K 1.6 Upgrade Guide .

I'd love to turn this on, and I have access via PHPMyAdmin, but I don't see a jos_kunena_config table.

Does this apply to version 1.7.1 as well? Do I need to update that value in SQL manually to get THREADED/FLAT buttons?

I have fresh installation of 1.7.1 and I do not have these buttons under forum topics as I see it here in this forum.

I think you have answered your own question. Yes, this applies to K 1.7.1 as well.

As I've written before, the threaded feature is not officially included or supported as part of the K 1.6 or K 1.7 release. The feature was a retrofit of work that has been happening in the development of K 2.0.
