Hi guys

I'm sure this is on the forum somewhere i had a quick look but couldnt see anything - so if it is someone can point me to a link rather than an explanation that's fine :)

I want to remove all traces of the social buttons (the facebook, yahoo, twitter links etc...) on the profile and don't want the users to be able to edit them or see any trace of them,

Thanks in advance

Kryp

The standard features of Kunena allow people to optionally enter this information if they wish to do so. It's a matter of respecting people's choices; that's the general approach taken by Kunena. We do, however, understand that some website managers do not want to allow their users to have any personal choices at all. Fair enough. B)

People should also remember that the design of Kunena has evolutionary. Some of the features that you see in Kunena are there because they were paid for and the whole community benefited from the development. So, even though the whole community generally benefits, you can't please everyone. Kunena is a compromise. Part of the way that Kunena was designed does not permit website managers having much personal choice in the way that the component can be used. Sometimes you have to remember that, too.
