Of course, if anyone actually does delete the "time to create page" information from the footer, they're on their own as far as future help and support is concerned from the team. If people encounter future problems, no matter what they might be, and they've removed this feature from their installation of Kunena, we won't be able to efficiently and effectively help them solve those problems if they've tampered with the standard installation of Kunena in any way.
Yes, Kunena is open source software and, yes, people can change the software any way that they like. This is a community-driven self-help forum and the project team is committed to providing support and advice as quickly and in the best way possible that we can. No-one is under any obligation to answer any questions and the team should certainly not be under an obligation to assist users who change the source code in ways like those discussed in this topic. As soon as people change the core functionality of Kunena they place themselves at arms-length from the rest of the community and if they encounter future problems then they may find themselves having to solve them themselves.
The "time to create page" is a Kunena 1.6 core function (even if people don't necessarily understand its purpose or appreciate its "looks"). I remember asking the project team, once upon a time, if this could be made optional and I was advised that the "time to create page" this would not be optional in Kunena 1.6. The information is not there to help us; the information is there to help you! The "time to create page" information is there to give you early warning about possible problems your forum might be having; it's like a status monitor, to reassure you about the health and integrity of your website.
I would recommend that others think very carefully about their choices in removing this or any other feature of Kunena. And that's all that I believe needs to be said on this matter.
