The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.5 [K 7.0.5] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0.
The Kunena team is also pleased to announce the eleventh version of Kunena 6.4, a native Joomla extension for Joomla! 5.0, 5.1, 5.2, 5.3, 5.4 and 6.0.
Question [Merged topic]The great Mootools/Javascript conflict discussion
i just upgraded a Kunena to 1.6 and I got a Message in the front-end which says, I have to activate the Mootools-Upgrade-Plugin, to see BBCode-Buttons in Editor, etc.
As soon as I activate this plugin, my RokDownload-Backend (File Managing) stops working. I can not see any files or folders anymore. And as soon as I deactivated it, everything works fine again.
Do you know something about this? Can we do something about it?
Thanks a lot

I've never seen a message generated by Kunena that says that you "have to activate the Mootools-Upgrade-Plugin, to see BBCode-Buttons in Editor, etc."; this is news to me. What version of Kunena are you using? Your configuration report would be useful to see as well as a screenshot of the original error message that you saw (if that's still possible to obtain).jamfx wrote: I just upgraded a Kunena to 1.6 and I got a Message in the front-end which says, I have to activate the Mootools-Upgrade-Plugin, to see BBCode-Buttons in Editor, etc.
I'm not sure what "it" was that you deactivated but I don't thin "it" had anything to do with Kunena. This is something you might need to discuss with RocketThemejamfx wrote: As soon as I activate this plugin, my RokDownload-Backend (File Managing) stops working. I'm not sure I understand the question, sorry.jamfx wrote: Do you know something about this? Can we do something about it?

Read my blog and
Thanks a lot, but I will change template, I finded one better, if I have same problem, I will do this.
Readed up all answers and still dont know how to fix it.
Mootools is loaded, no conflict with other js (checked with rhuk_milkyway template too)
I think its serios problem and not just for me.
Maybe it may be problem with hosting?
after you switch off the "System - Mootools Upgrade plugin" you got this message in the frondend:
# Kunena: You have a plugin that uses Mootools 1.1 or custom version of JHTMLBehavior.
# Many features, including Quick Reply and BBCode editor may be broken.
# Please enable System - Mootools Upgrade plugin.
BUT RokDownloads-Backend (Filemanager) works.
If you switch "it" - the plugin - on again: the message is gone, but Filmanager from RokDownloads is not working.
So this plugin comes along with Kunena.
Any hints on this?
Thanks!

I have a running thread on this at Rockettheme! They are in the process of updating all there extensions. For now I disable the mootools to edit rokdownloads and turn it back on when I'm done. This is not to convenient but works in the meantime!
