Kunena 7.0.8 Released
The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.8 [K 7.0.8] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x./6.1.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0

If you keep using K 1.7.0 then you will (probably) have to keep using the Synchronize Users feature - yes, this will cure your immediate problem - but if you upgrade to K 1.7.2 then you probably will never have to use the Synchronize Users feature ever again. Anyway, it makes sense to upgrade so as to fix the 35+ technical problems involved in that version. In the time you have waited for this answer you've probably already upgraded and your problem was solved. Right? :dry:
