We don't know the cause of this problem. I am thinking of trashing my test site and starting again with a fresh J! 1.5.20 build. However, other users have not reported the same problems that you and I have encountered. :(

Hi, tks for sharing, but how am I going to remove this version of Kunena now ? Just like other people said that manually removed the Com_kunena under Admin and Site thru FTP ? Would there be any debris of Kunena 1.6 beta 1 after manual removal ? I'm afraid if it will conflict with Kunena 1.52 and further screw up other modules...sometimes...life seems going against what we hope :woohoo:

I think this problem will soon be a thing of the past. I've just received and successfully installed a later build of K 1.6 BETA 2. I believe these "I can't install or uninstall issues" will disappear of their own accord.

Well ... at least I'm happy! :woohoo:

Tks for sharing but that's of future tense.
My present problem is after manual removal of com_kunena under the administrator and site components, in the admin area, I still see the Kunena Forum from the Component list, what should I do next ? Any advices, tks
