Kunena 7.0.4 Released

The Kunena team has announce the arrival of Kunena 7.0.4 [K 7.0.4] in stable which is now available for download as a native Joomla extension for J! 5.4.x/6.0.x. This version addresses most of the issues that were discovered in K 6.2 / K 6.3 / K 6.4 and issues discovered during the last development stages of K 7.0

This is for users to help other users, to discuss topics that are related to forum administration in general or problems in running Joomla. This is not the place to ask for Joomla support. If you want assistance with Joomla please ask at forum.joomla.org

I created new topic after error, thinkink problem it was redirect old topics......

but i can't read new topic, too...... :-(

I disabled rewrite option in configuration menu of admin panel......and it worked all fine........ :-)


The problem , i think, is rewrite url in new Kunena version......

Which is correct option for to work with Rewrite Url correctly ?????

Never seen issues with default sef system. Do you using customized htaccess ?

According to Di Nubila's K 1.6 configuration report, there is no .htaccess file. To properly set up Search Engine Optimization, please read the article on that subject in the Wiki: Search Engine Optimization (SEO)

Chrono Story:

Joomla 1.5.22
SEF Url's --> on
Mode Rewrite --> on
Suffix --> off
Kunena 1.6
Jomsocial 1.8.1
js seo Tags 4.2
SEF Patch for 1.5.22

Then

Upgrade Jomsocial 2.04 and it was all right

Then Upgrade Kunena 1.6.2 and it doesn't work (only forum)

Then change joomla option to

SEF Url's --> off
Mode Rewrite --> on
Suffix --> off

and it worked

then tryied last possibility

SEF Url's --> on
Mode Rewrite --> off
Suffix --> off

and it doesn't work

So, i Think, problem/conflict is setting Joomla SEF --> on with Kunena 1.6.2

what can i do ???

Waiting for a solution to this problem as well, the 1.6.2 forum only works when i switch the SEF off

I've tried pretty all combinations of commenting out and not doing so in my .htaccess file, no luck...

Any help appreciated :)

The solution to the SEO problems is to read Search Engine Optimization (SEO) in the Wiki. If this does not solve your Joomla SEO problems then please follow up your questions at the Joomla support forum . Sometimes this will not solve your problems and you need to discuss your SEO issues with your webhosting provider. Not all hosted solutions allow the use of SEO.

In my own case, I have not made any changes to the standard Joomla .htaccess file (the file that ships with Joomla as htaccess.txt; the file that you need to rename as .htaccess; the file that you need to store in your Joomla site root folder).

In my case, I use the following settings, always:

SEF Url's --> on
Mode Rewrite --> on
Suffix --> off
Blue Eagle vs. Crypsis reference guide
Read my blog and
