For some reason only one adsence banner/link shows up in a thread. I have tried changing the module name to kunena_msg_2 but all this does is move the adsence link underneath the second post. I want to replicate the Kunena forum where they have two adsence on each page

You can have up to 3 adsense modules on 1 page. Just make 3 modules, each with the adsense code in it. Give them 3 different positions: kunena_msg_2 ; kunena_msg_4 and kunena_msg_6 This places 3 adds; behind message 2, 4 and 6.

thanks, that has solved my problem

Roothy- what do you mean open in a new window? We are talking about Google ads on the forum, a new window will open when you click on an ad

Is that an adsense limitation or a kunena limitation?

I know it's off topic but would you mind telling me where that limitation is elaborated in more detail? (i.e. how many adsense can I add? how many links? how many research engines? Cheers

I was hoping someone could help me. I am trying to install Google adsense module into my Kunena forum, that I am using with Joomla's JA_Purity template, but can not seem to get the ads to show in between threads. I was refered to you from exinkai.com after trying thier implementation tutorial at:-
www.exinkai.com/index.php?option=com_kun...view&catid=10&id=486

I have also tried another tutorial at joomla-R-us.com:-
joomla-r-us.com/tutorials/37-joomlatutor...-inside-kunena-forum

where they say to add the ad code into the view.php file, however, the code in my view.php is slightly different to that of the tutorial view.php file. I did try it anyway but to no success.
Any help would be much appreciated.

try this :)

well, Joomla Backend

1.Extensions -> Modules manager
2.New (button top-right)
3.Custom HTML
4.Next (button top-right)
5.Title - write what you want
6.Enabled = Yes
1.Position: delete "left" and write "kunena_msg_1"
7.Access Level: Public
8.Menus: All
9.In the Custom Output insert Google code
10.Save (button top-right)

That's all.
